A Message From the Founder's Keyboard...

September marks the 6th month of Real Bloggers United: The Group Blog and I have been so pleased with how well our little blogging site has done.  We've had some terrific poetry, amazing photos, and some of the best prose posts that I've read...ever!  I dare say the quality of the work that's found here at our little virtual pocket of the blogosphere rivals that of other sites.  And the reason we've been blessed with such awesome posts is because our members are dedicated to using the blogging medium to its fullest potential. 

Each month we offer our members and others who happen to either stumble upon or be invited to visit our site a glimpse at the talent we've got swimming in our pool.  And we've had several people join RBU after visiting our site because they want to be a part of a group that is dedicated to not only touting the abilities of fellow bloggers but they have seen that's also a place where RBU members can challenge themselves each month to spread their artistic wings because sometimes our 'theme inspired' format is a good deal out of their writing style comfort zone. 

RBU has explored themes ranging from 'beginnings' to 'treasures' over these past six months and so far every single submission has been head and shoulders above what one might find at other group blogging sites.  And on the occassions when we've used what we call the UNthemed-theme of 'Blogger's Choice', where our members can expound on anything that strikes their artistic fancy using the writing style they feel the most comfortable with, the submissions are, in a word, outstanding!

I feel honored to be a part of this merry band of bloggers and I hope that this time next year I'll continue to be touting the outstanding quality of submissions by our ever expanding group of members.
